CAUTION: IF RH ENGINE IS IN HOTEL MODE, OBSERVE SAFETY PRECAUTION DURING
WALK AROUND INSPECTION.
1 ARRIVAL:
Place the chocks on wheels.
Install tail prop with streamer.
Install the nose landing gear and the main landing gear lock safety devices and Pitot / Static covers (If the halt is for more than 2 hours).
Review the aircraft technical logbook, cabin logbook and take corrective action as
necessary.

Carry out General Visual Inspection of following items for satisfactory conditions and for presence of any suspicious objects:
- FUSELAGE, WINGS, EMPENNAGE & DOORS: Radome, exterior surface of lower and upper half of fuselage (from ground level),
drains & drain masts, cabin & cockpit windows, wipers, all doors and emergency
hatches. Wing surfaces, leading edges including de-icer boots, fairings, flaps, ailerons, control surfaces and control horns. Empennage (Visible portions of fin, rudder, rudder horn, horizontal stabilizer, elevators
and elevator horns. Static ports, pitot tubes, angle of attack probe, sensors and external antennas, TAT probes & horns and static dischargers.
Overboard oxygen discharge indicator (green). Landing lights, navigation lights and anti-collision lights. Pack ram air inlet and exhaust.
Outflow valves.
Tail skid shoe for evidence of skid marks and for evidence of wear. - LANDING GEARS AND WHEEL WELL:
All landing gears for no leaks & the gear struts for proper extension. All tires and wheels.
Brakes, wear indicator pins & temperature sensors.
Parking brake accumulator.
Ensure uplock is in open position.
Free fall assister.
Hydraulic reservoir quantity.
4 ENGINES (No. 1 & No. 2):
Propeller blades in feather position and aligned with the marks on the spinner.
Free rotation of propeller.
Propeller anti ice strips & engine intake de-icing boots.
Engine air intake and exhaust.
Engine cowl nacelles, access panels and drains. Fuel & oil leaks.
- COCKPIT & CABIN:
Cockpit area (Crew seats, control panels, engine & airframe controls, and instruments).
Passenger cabin. - WATER/WASTE SERVICING:
Ensure that – the potable water system is serviced.
- the toilet waste tank is serviced.
- FINAL INSPECTION & SERVICING:
Take fuel samples from Fuel Bowzer drain, valves and test for water content and
contamination using Aqua Indica Micro detector, prior to refuelling. Landing Gear ground lock pins, tail prop and pitot & static covers are removed.
Cargo compartment nets are lashed properly.
Flight Report Book entered and signed.
All doors and panels are closed and flight crew informed. ENSURE ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS ARE ON BOARD AND FLIGHT REPORT
BOOK ENTRIES ARE COMPLETED AND SIGNED.
